Tips
Looking For Used Tennis Ball?

One of the best ways to find used tennis balls is to check with your local tennis clubs.

Speak to the tennis teaching pro. Ask them if they could donate balls to your cause. They may have some left over from tournaments or if and when they change out their practice balls they may have extras.

Some players only use balls a couple times. Ask if you can put a recycle bin in the club for used balls to go to your cause.

I need 100 old balls for my class. We lost 1/3 of our classroom funds for this year, and will not receive a raise for at least two years. I just can not afford to go out and buy balls for the classroom. Thank you.

I am an elementary school teacher in need of approx. 200 tennis balls for my classroom. Teachers this year will not get any state funds for classroom supplies. My floor only gets waxed once a year, and does not get mopped unless I do it, so I am looking for tennis balls to help make my classroom a clean, positive environment. Please contact me if you can donate any tennis balls, will pay for shipping.

-I'm trying to help the enviroment by recycling "gently used" tennis balls so they can be used on school chairs and desks. Due to budget cutbacks, several schools have contacted me regarding getting balls for their schools. I am currently in need of over 1,000 balls. I am in So. Florida and will be happy to pick up or pay shipping.

Q & A

Q - "I am looking to purchase a qty of 500+ used tennis balls. Do you sell used tennis balls? If so, how much? If not, do you know anyone who does?" Tom in California

A - Tennis Affinity does not sell used tennis balls, but can help you find someone that does. TA

Success: A teacher in central Illinois was able to get balls from a nearby Tennis Club to donate old balls to her school for the childrens desk.
"Thank you very much for your help. The Tennis Center at the the Park District is able to donate 100 used tennis balls to my classroom.
Thanks again! Jennifer"

Q - A tennis player in Orange County, NY says, "We don't have a huge amount of used Tennis Balls, but each season we have 10-20 that we need to get rid of and were wondering what we could do with them besides putting them in a land fill."

A - Check with your schools... we get alot of request from teachers. Also check local park district or tennis club. Many tennis teaching pros like used balls for practice. Ask if you can donate them to be used in lessons or check with local school the teachers like them to put on the bottome of desk for noise reduction. TA
