Tips
Looking For Used Tennis Ball?
One of the best ways to find used tennis balls is to check
with your local tennis clubs.
Speak to the tennis teaching pro. Ask
them if they could donate balls to your cause. They may
have some left over from tournaments or if and when they
change out their practice balls they may have extras.
Some players only use balls a couple times. Ask if you can
put a recycle bin in the club for used balls to go to your
cause.

I am an elementary art teacher at a public school in Indianapolis.
Due to budget cuts, I am left with no funds this year. I
have done fund raisers to buy supplies for us to use, but
the one thing I still really need to are tennis balls to
put on the chair legs to cut down on the noise level. We
are a special education hub school and the noise my chairs
make are really hard on our kiddos with sensory issues.
I would love to be the recipient of 180 used tennis balls
to use in my classroom. Thank you so much!

Our tennis season run's in three (3) sessions. I purchase
over a 100 cases of PENN balls each year. That is roughly
4,500 balls.
We are looking for a donation facility for the used balls.
We would also look at selling them for a small amount as
we have so many left after each session.

I am in need of about 100 tennis balls to place on the chair
legs in my son's classroom. He is in a program for children
with autism...the squeaking of the chairs on the floor is
overwhelming to some of the children. His teacher has asked
for help in this situation.

A tennis player in Orange County, NY says, "We
don't have a huge amount of used Tennis Balls, but each
season we have 10-20 that we need to get rid of and were
wondering what we could do with them besides putting them
in a land fill."

- Check with your local park district
or tennis club. Many tennis teaching pros like used balls
for practice. Ask if you can donate them to be used in lessons
or check with local school the teachers like them to put
on the bottome of desk for noise reduction. TA
